Charlotte Airport to debut terminal expansion
Charlotte Douglas International Airport will open its new 90,000-square-foot expansion of the existing main terminal, which first opened in 1982. The expanded terminal will offer passengers more space on the ticketing and baggage levels as well as a new underground tunnel that connects the terminal to hourly parking and rental car areas.

Federal funding supports Hartsfield-Jackson Airport upgrades
The White House announced a new wave of funding for airports across the country including $40 million for Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The money is part of the $1.2 trillion bipartisan infrastructure bill approved by Congress. The grant will put $40 million toward upgrading Concourse D at Hartsfield, creating 500 construction jobs.
