Seven Hoosier Airports to Receive Grants

The U.S. Department of Transportation is awarding $2.26 million to seven Indiana airports. The grants will fund airport safety and infrastructure projects. The funding comes from a $520.5 million national investment in America’s airports.

Portland, Maine’s airport to receive $4.5M for improvements

The federal government is providing nearly $4.5 million for improvements at Maine’s largest airport. The Portland International Jetport has been awarded the money to construct a taxiway to provide runway access. The money is from the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Airport Improvement Program.
