Ten Wyoming airports get federal grants

U.S. Secretary of Transportation Elaine L. Chao announced that the U.S. Dept. of Transportation will award $7.2 million in airport safety and infrastructure grants to 10 airports in Wyoming. The largest recipient in the state was Jackson Hole Airport, which will receive $2.7 million to fund repairing an access road.

Minnesota’s Wadena Airport receives $135K grant

The Wadena Airport has received $135K from the United States Dept. of Transportation to seal the pavement on runways, taxiways and the apron. The funds are part of a $520.5 million national investment, with $2.45 million going towards airport safety and infrastructure grants in Minnesota.

N.M. airports to get almost $1M in construction grants

Four municipal airports in southern and southeastern New Mexico recently received nearly $1 million in federal funds for various improvements.
