See Airport Improvements Happening in Valley International

Valley International Airport is planning more than $15 million expansion of its runway. The airport sees passenger flights from United, Delta, and Southwest. It’s also a center for cargo that ships goods throughout the country. The Federal Aviation Administration is funding the majority of the expansion.

FedEx will renovate and expand its package sorting facility at Valley International Airport beginning in March. In September, Valley International Airport received $1.6 million in airport improvement grants to acquire aircraft rescue and firefighting safety equipment and to rehabilitate its terminal building.
