Islip receives $1 million state grant to modernize MacArthur Airport terminal

Islip’s MacArthur Airport will use a $1 million state grant to support improvements and modernization of its main terminal, including the baggage claim area, and roof and vestibule repairs. It comes on the heels of the $5.4 million in federal grants the airport received during the fall for facility improvements.
