$21 million increase approved for California airport improvements

The Long Beach City Council has approved a contract amendment for terminal area improvements to the Long Beach Airport. The contract amendment will raise the original amount by at least $21 million, bringing the new total to roughly $80 million. The project will create a new ticketing building and retrofit the historic terminal building.
